Dr. Melanie Petro is a nationally recognized facial plastic surgeon and the founder of Petro Facial Plastic Surgery and MedSpa in Birmingham, Alabama. She is triple board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery—an achievement that reflects her extensive training, depth of knowledge, and dedication to her craft.

Dr. Petro earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed her fellowship in facial plastic surgery at the renowned McCollough Institute.
